Hepatitis D Virus Ag ELISA Kit is an in vitro sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for qualitative detection of Hepatitis D Virus (HDV) antigen in human serum or plasma. HDV is a defective virus that relies on HBV for replication. This kit helps screen and monitor HDV infection status, widely used in hospital clinical laboratories, disease control centers and research institutes.

The microplate wells are pre-coated with anti-HDV capture antibody. HDV antigen in samples binds to the capture antibody. After washing, HRP-labeled detection antibody is added to form antibody-antigen-antibody complex. Substrate is added for color development. The absorbance is read by microplate reader to judge positive or negative results.
