Measles Virus IgG ELISA Test Kit High Sensitivity Specificity

The Measles Virus IgG ELISA Test Kit is an in vitro diagnostic enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies against Measles virus in human serum or plasma samples. This kit is intended for use in clinical laboratories to aid in the diagnosis of measles virus infection and to assess immune status following vaccination or natural infection.

This ELISA kit employs a sandwich immunoassay principle. Microtiter wells are pre-coated with recombinant Measles virus antigens. Patient samples containing IgG antibodies specific to Measles virus will bind to the immobilized antigens. After washing to remove unbound substances, horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated anti-human IgG antibodies are added, forming an antigen-antibody-enzyme complex. Following a second wash step, TMB substrate solution is added, producing a color reaction proportional to the concentration of Measles virus IgG antibodies present in the sample. The reaction is stopped with sulfuric acid, and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
