Hantaan Virus IgM Rapid Test Kit for Qualitative Detection of HTNV Antibodies Using Lateral Flow Immunoassay (LFIA) as Point-of-Care Test (POCT)

The Hantaan virus rapid test is a lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA)-based qualitative diagnostic kit designed for the rapid detection of antibodies (IgM/IgG) against Hantaan orthohantavirus (HTNV), the primary causative agent of Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome (HFRS) in Asia. This point-of-care test (POCT) enables on-site screening without specialized laboratory equipment, making it suitable for field use, outbreak investigation, and resource-limited settings.

The rapid test kit is intended for the qualitative detection of Hantavirus-specific antibodies in human serum, whole blood, or potentially other specimen types (such as nasopharyngeal swabs, depending on product variant). It aids in the presumptive diagnosis of HFRS in patients presenting with compatible symptoms (fever, renal dysfunction, hemorrhage, thrombocytopenia) and relevant epidemiological risk factors.
