This ELISA kit detects Human IL-6 levels in samples using purified Human IL-6 antibody-coated microtiter plate wells as solid-phase antibody. IL-6 is added to wells and combined with HRP-labeled IL-6 antibody, forming an antibody-antigen-enzyme-antibody complex. After complete washing, TMB substrate solution is added, turning blue through HRP enzyme catalysis. The reaction is terminated with sulfuric acid solution, and color change is measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm. Human IL-6 concentration is determined by comparing sample O.D. values to the standard curve.

Extract specimens as soon as possible after collection according to relevant literature and conduct experiments promptly. If immediate testing isn't possible, preserve specimens at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Samples containing NaN3 cannot be detected as NaN3 inhibits HRP activity.
