Product Description | The kit assays TB levels in the sample using a microtiter plate coated with purified TB antibodies. It forms an antibody-antigen-enzyme complex with HRP-labeled antibodies and uses a TMB substrate for colorimetric detection at 450 nm. The presence of TB is determined by comparing to a cutoff value. |
Principle | A one-step method detects anti-TB IgG antibodies in serum or plasma using a nitrocellulose membrane test strip. The test forms complexes of TB IgG antibodies and colloidal gold conjugates, which create a visible pink test line. A red control line confirms proper test function. |
Specimen Requirements | Samples should be extracted and tested promptly or stored at -20°C to prevent degradation. Avoid samples with NaN3 as it inhibits HRP activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
Support and Services | The Colloidal Gold Rapid Test offers point-of-care diagnostics for detecting specific antibodies in blood or serum, including infectious diseases like COVID-19. Results are available in 10 minutes. Technical support, training, and regulatory compliance assistance are provided. |

IgG Antibody Test on Card/Strip
Each box/strip contains a test strip with antigen in the TB test area and a TB antigen membrane color-conjugated gold pad.
Serum samples are usually prepared from a vein. Plasma samples are usually prepared from regular blood, such as with a dose of the anticoagulant heparin or sodium citrate. Samples can be stored at 2 - 8°C for five days without affecting assay performance. Storage of samples at -20°C or below is recommended as this may result in erroneous results. Samples that are turbid or have precipitation should be centrifuged or filtered during collection and testing. Storage.
