INTENDED USE
The kit is used for the qualitative or quantitative detection of HBV
DNA in human serum or plasma by Real time PCR method. It can be
used to evaluate antiviral treatment and monitor the therapeutic
effect by monitoring HBV DNA baseline levels and changes in
patient blood.
PRINCIPLE
Highly species-specific gene fragment of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is
used to generate probes and primers in this real-time PCR assay.
The target gene fragments of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) are amplified
accurately by the specific primers. At the same time, the highly
specific TaqMan probe can be combined with the target nucleic acid
fragments, and will be hydrolyzed to produce the fluorescence signals
under the action of Taq enzyme exonuclease activity, in which the
real-time amplification curve will be obtained according to the
relationship between the fluorescence signal and the number of
amplification cycles, besides, the false negative and the PCR
inhibition can be monitored by Internal Control.
The specific gene (FAM channel) of HBV be qualitatively detected
under the quality control by internal control (ROX channel)
